One Process.
One Expert.
One Pathway.
A structured, coordinated approach to family mediation — designed around your family, not around conflict.
WHO WE HELP
For families who want
a better way forward.
We work with couples and families going through prenup discussions, separation, divorce, or post-marriage conflict involving finances or children — who want to avoid the impact of litigation.
- Couples or families caught in cross-border complexity — UAE, UK, or international
- Caught in ongoing disagreement and struggling to make progress in discussions
- Facing separation decisions involving children, money, or shared assets
- Feeling overwhelmed by conflicting advice from lawyers, friends, or family
- Noticing that communication is breaking down or becoming repetitive
- Concerned that things may escalate into a prolonged legal or emotional conflict
Most of our clients are not looking for more advice. They are looking for clear structure, expert direction, and to stop the situation from getting worse.
Family Reframed is not suitable if you:
- Seek a purely adversarial approach
- Urgently require legal advice for your safety
- Require urgent legal action to secure your jurisdiction
- Are unwilling to engage in constructive dialogue
- Have determined litigation is already your preferred strategy
If we are not able to support you now, we may be able to assist at a later stage. If you are unsure, please reach out for a free initial call.
How It Works
The Reframe
When couples and families are in conflict or transition, things usually move in circles. Conversations become harder. Decisions feel overwhelming. Advice comes from different directions. We believe there is a better way.
01
Can We Help?
Every couple, or family, is different.
We begin with a free Clarity Call to understand your situation and explain how we work. If you and your partner agree, we schedule our initial consultation to consider your goals, challenges, and any sensitivities. We only take on matters where we believe we can genuinely help — if we cannot add value, we will tell you honestly and point you in a better direction.
02
Your Pathway
No two families need exactly the same support.
Once we understand your situation, we design a pathway around your needs. This may include mediation only, legal guidance, therapeutic support, child-inclusive approaches, financial expertise, or a collaborative combination. Every pathway is different.
03
Structured Conversations
The focus is not on winning.
Once the pathway is in place, we guide conversations that help families make progress. The focus is on understanding, problem-solving, and finding workable solutions. Where appropriate, existing lawyers, therapists, financial advisers, or other professionals can be part of the process.
04
Agreement
Solutions shaped into lasting agreements.
When solutions emerge, we help shape them into clear and practical agreements. Where required, legal professionals can support the formalisation through the appropriate legal process, including matters involving multiple jurisdictions. Our goal is not simply to reach agreement — it is to ensure decisions are understood, supported, and capable of lasting.
05
Moving Forward
An agreement is the beginning of the next chapter.
We help families transition from uncertainty into stability, providing ongoing support where needed. Many families return to us months or years later when new questions arise. We remain available as life changes and families continue to evolve.
Pathway Options
Flexible routes.
Designed around your situation.
These are not rigid packages. They are flexible routes designed to bring the right level of support at the right time. The pathway is always adapted to your needs, the complexity involved, and the level of support required.
01
Mediation-Led Pathway
Structured mediation sessions to help couples work through decisions directly, with support to reduce conflict and improve communication. The most direct route when both parties are ready to engage constructively.
02
Legally Guided Pathway
A mediation-based process supported by legal expertise where needed — helping couples resolve complex issues without unnecessary escalation. A single joint lawyer or independent lawyers for each partner.
03
Therapeutic Pathway
We go beyond the surface level issues to support resolving underlying tensions. Strategic therapeutic sessions during the mediation process, or co-mediation with a therapist, to support emotional wellbeing and communication.
04
Child-Inclusive Pathway
We engage professionals where needed to ensure the children’s voices, needs, and wellbeing are appropriately considered when shaping future arrangements. A Children First approach to all discussions.
05
Finance-Guided Pathway
We deploy a jointly instructed financial expert, or consider independent financial analysis, to bring transparency, analysis, and confidence to financial discussions. Valuable for complex assets or cross-border finances.
06
Collaborative Pathway
We bring together the right combination of legal, financial, therapeutic, and family professionals to strategically support more complex situations — including international, cultural, or multi-jurisdictional matters.
Not sure which pathway fits your situation?
Clarity on Fees
Clear, structured fees.
No surprises.
We believe families should always understand cost before they begin. That is why we use a clear, structured approach to fees — designed to reduce uncertainty and support informed decisions from the outset.
Stage 01
Initial Clarity Call
A short, informal call to understand your situation and determine whether we are the right fit. We explore your situation, whether mediation is suitable, what support may be needed, and the most appropriate next step. If we cannot help, we will tell you honestly.

Stage 02
Initial Consultation
A focused consultation to understand your situation in depth and identify the most appropriate pathway. We map out key issues, assess emotional and financial dynamics, outline the recommended pathway, and give you a clear indication of likely structure and cost. Most clients describe this as the point where things finally make sense.

Stage 03
Mediation Sessions
Used where needed as part of structured pathways or standalone sessions — only when they add value to moving discussions forward. Most families move into a structured pathway rather than remaining in hourly sessions alone. This is where progress becomes faster, clearer, and more contained.

Frequently Asked Questions
Clear answers,
before you begin.
This section brings together the most common queries about mediation — providing clear, practical answers so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
Family Reframed is a specialist family mediation service for couples and families navigating separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, and financial transitions. We offer a structured process that regularly includes strategic input from therapists, accountants, lawyers, and other professionals, designed to bring clarity, reduce conflict, and support better decision-making.
Traditional legal processes often separate issues into different tracks — lawyers for legal matters, therapists for personal concerns, accountants for finances. This leads to fragmented advice, slower resolution, and families returning repeatedly without genuine finality. Family Reframed brings these elements into one coordinated process, so decisions are made with clarity and context, not in isolation.
We are a neutral service. We do not represent either party. Our role is to hold a structured process that helps both individuals communicate more clearly and move towards workable outcomes. Each party may engage their own independent legal adviser alongside the process if needed.
Yes, regularly, when it adds value. Depending on the situation, we coordinate input from family lawyers, private client lawyers, financial advisers or accountants, therapists or counsellors, child psychologists, and cultural or religious specialists. These professionals are brought in when needed and remain part of one coordinated process.
Yes. Many of our clients live across different jurisdictions or deal with international legal, financial, or cultural considerations. We specialise in expat couples and families based in the UAE and Middle East. Our process is designed specifically to handle this kind of complexity in a structured and coordinated way.
Where children are involved, their wellbeing is central to the process. We adopt a Children First approach to discussions centred around child arrangements. We support parents in making decisions that prioritise stability, communication, and long-term co-parenting arrangements.
For simpler matters, resolution can often be achieved within three to five sessions over approximately eight weeks. More complex situations involving children, significant finances, or international considerations may require a longer, phased approach. We discuss the likely pathway and expected timeframe at the outset so you have full clarity on what to expect.
Most couples invest between AED 15,000 – AED 25,000 + VAT per person, depending on complexity. Initial Clarity Call is free. Initial Consultation is AED 2,000 + VAT. Mediation sessions are AED 2,500 per hour + VAT. All costs are structured and discussed upfront — no surprises. With our fees split between the couple, we are a highly competitive alternative to court litigation.
As early as possible. The earlier you begin thinking about your options, the more choices remain available without escalation. Family issues rarely improve by waiting. We aim to schedule Clarity Calls within one working day and initial consultations within five working days.
Our approach is built around one principle: One Couple. One Expert. One Process. We bring clarity where there is confusion, structure where there is fragmentation, and calm where there is conflict.
Take The First Step
